As I’ve stated before, I’m rather glad that so much music from the ‘90s is coming back around to some sort of relative popularity. Granted, I loathe the thought of generic grunge and sappy teeny-bopper pop ever making a return, but if you listen to mainstream “alternative” stations on terrestrial radio dial, those sounds have been de rigueur in that medium for the last fifteen or so years. Thus, when I hear a band like Manorlady resurrecting the music of Ride, Pale Saints, and Spiritualized, it fills me with no small measure of happiness.
