Like many people who inhabit the blogosphere and geek out when a great new single makes its way into our headphones, I was completely enamored with “Hellhole Ratrace” when it dropped earlier this year. The music of Girls seemed to encapsulate everything we love and hate about summer romances – young love in bloom, the wilting of said bloom, and everything in between – into one single track. Thus, when the group released its full-length debut Album for public consumption, I was excited to hear if the glories of that song would be continue across a complete record.
