I will be the first to admit that I often blather on aimlessly about bands that make me hearken back to certain memories in my past, both the good and the bad. And while I feel that such music is important, it’s probably much more necessary for bands to make music that drags my fat, thirty-year-old ass into the present and carries me kicking and screaming into the future.
