Cryptacize play art pop stripped bare. Each song on Mythomania has been reduced to the essentials – a snaky guitar line, a smattering of drums and an unadorned vocal line. They sprinkle bits of keyboard and the occasional post-production touch, but otherwise, they give you precisely enough to capture your attention. From there, it’s up to you whether you want to join them for the rest of the ride or not.
